| The interior of the temple is quite dark, and it is difficult to photograph the carvings well. Below is a selection that I have enhanced - and turned into greyscale. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| One of the more interesting features of the temple is the outside walk between the outer wall of the temple, and the wall of the main sanctuary. On the wall panels is told the story of the battles between Horus and Seth. Also, on the South walkway is the Nilometer which looks like a flight of steps, with which the priests would attempt to forecast the Nile flood for the year. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

At the exact centre of the rear wall is this relief, showing Horus above a plan of temple. The main pylon and entrance can be seen at the bottom, with the channels where flagpoles would be situated clearly shown. |
