On the outside walls of the hypostyle hall are battle scenes with both Seti I and Rameses II leading their troops - Seti on the north wall and Rameses on the south.
Seti in his chariot, leading his troops into battle The reliefs on this wall are in better condition than those on the south wall.

Above, Rameses is smiting his enemies. This is part of one of the many depictions of the battle of Kadesh, which, although historically appearing to be a draw, Rameses glorified as a wonderful victory, due to his single-handedly holding off the enemy until his relief column appeared.

The oddly shaped picture to the left shows Seti I smiting his enemies from the reliefs on the south wall. The shape is due to the fact that I used a very strong perspective distortion on the original picture to show the details better, but could not crop without losing detail. Hope you don't mind!
