The Open Air Museum is a separate area within the Karnak complex. Admission is LE20, and tickets can be obtained at the main ticket office. It is situated to the north of the temple, just past the toilet block, and is well worth a visit. It contains row upon row of carved blocks that have been discovered in reconstruction work, which are waiting to be used to reconstruct other areas. It also contains several reconstructed shrines or mini-temples, the most famous being the Red Temple of Hatshepsut.
