Part of the Avenue of Sphinxes can be seen to the right. The park to the right, and the square below it will disappear in the next year or so, as the Avenue of Sphinxes is excavated, and opened between Karnak and Luxor Temples. The long area towards the centre is where the Mummification Museum is situated.
